The Ministry of Tourism is promoting the transformation of tourism in Tamaulipas through the training, certification, and registration of service providers, with the goal of improving quality, maximizing customer satisfaction, strengthening competitiveness, and professionalizing human talent, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the state’s tourist destinations.

Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism in Tamaulipas, emphasized that the Tamaulipas government is promoting ongoing training and the National Tourism Registry (RNT).

On this occasion, the training session was for tourism service providers in the communities of El Morón, Barra del Tordo, and El Nacimiento, located in the municipality of Aldama, Tamaulipas.

“It is important to remember that Aldama has the deepest known cenote in the country, as well as a pool where kayaking is possible, a beach, and for adventure lovers, the Los Cuarteles caves, among other spaces,” he noted.

He explained that during the first part of the meeting, the topic “Unforgettable Destination: Improving the Tourist Experience” was addressed, where key strategies were shared to improve the quality of visitor service and design memorable experiences.

The importance of the National Tourism Registry (RNT) was also discussed, highlighting the importance of registered providers to strengthen their competitiveness, professionalize the sector, and generate greater trust among tourists.

“Every effort to provide unforgettable experiences transforms our destination and leaves a lasting impression on every visitor,” explained Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism for the Tamaulipas government.

The event was attended by the mayor of Aldama, Mimí Sosa, among other officials and service providers.
