This Friday, April 21 of this year, there will be a water cut in the northern colonies of Tampico and Ciudad Madero and the northern area of Altamira, it will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, reported South COMAPA.
For this reason, it is important to take it into account to prepare for the lack of water for 18 hours, save water for the bathroom, wash clothes or dishes, since more than 100 neighborhoods in southern Tamaulipas will be affected.
The Municipal Commission of Water and Sewerage (COMAPA) Sur, informed all users that the cut is being made due to the maneuvers for the repair of the 36¨ general line, on Avenida Burton E. Grossman with Libramiento Poniente from the Niños Héroes neighborhood of Tampico.
After that time, the pressurization of the network will start and the pressure of vital liquid will normalize during the day.
During this week, COMAPA Sur repaired a general drainage pipe in the Jardín 20 de Noviembre neighborhood in Ciudad Madero, which collapsed because it had already completed its useful life cycle.
The repair of this damage implies the replacement of 40 meters of the general line of the drainage system, of which there is already significant progress.
The restoration maneuvers are being carried out on Second Avenue in the Jardín 20 de Noviembre neighborhood, however, the leak caused by the collapse of the line also affects the Los Mangos and Unidad Nacional neighborhoods.
In addition, it carried out street paving work at various points in Tampico and Ciudad Madero, in which repairs to drainage lines and sanitary collectors were carried out.
Some of the work carried out this week consisted of the paving Allende Street, between 5 and 20 de Noviembre streets in the Amplification neighborhood of the National Unit, where repair maneuvers were carried out on the general drainage line.
La COMAPA Sur reminded users that it appreciates their patience with the work carried out this Friday for almost the entire day in Tampico, Madero and the northern area of Altamira.
