Tamaulipas government continues expansion of TAM stations; Police and tourist assistance centers every 50 kilometers

Reynosa, Tamaulipas.- TAM Station number 14 out of 26 was delivered, built by the Government of Tamaulipas to strengthen road surveillance, in addition to providing information, guidance, and assistance to users of the Tamaulipas communication routes.

On a work tour, Governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca carried out the inauguration of the Tam Reynosa Sur Station, located at the Reynosa-San Fernando exit, accompanied by the Secretary of Public Security, Jorge Ontiveros Molina; the Secretary of Public Works, Cecilia del Alto López; the Secretary of Economic Development, Carlos González García; and the Undersecretary of SMEs, Jesús Villarreal Cantú.

It is TAM Station number 14 out of a total of 26 that the project contemplates throughout the state, intended to provide orientation, tourist information, and road assistance, located every 50 kilometers along the state highway network.

In Río Bravo, he visited a plant of the company Master Brand México, the main manufacturer of bathroom cabinets and sinks in the United States and Latin America, whose facilities he visited in the company of executives of the American company located in Río Bravo.

These works are part of the 2021 program for the rehabilitation of pavements, public lighting, garrisons, and sidewalks that the Government of Tamaulipas is carrying out in neighborhoods of the 43 municipalities to combat lags in urban infrastructure.

Each Tam Station is equipped with a waiting room, handrails for customer service, office, monitoring, workroom, cellar, armory, kitchenette, breakfast room, restrooms, double garage, in addition to triple bedrooms, bathroom, hallway, electrical room, armory, physical conditioning area, exterior lighting and voice, and text telecommunication service.

The TAM Stations strengthen the confidence of the users of Tamaulipas highways, in addition, they facilitate the operations of the State Highway Assistance Police, responsible for monitoring communication routes and providing support to motorists in case of any incident.
