CFE Internet arrives to Tamaulipas, here are the details

CFE-internet will start on Tuesday, March 21 in the main squares of the municipalities, check the requirements here.

The Internet from Well-being program of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) will arrive in Tamaulipas, when the Federal Delegation of Development Programs in the state announces the costs and the day of its implementation, as well as the way to acquire the various packages for users interested in this region of the Mexican Republic.

Officials announced the promotion of this telecommunications modality in different parts of this territory. The head of this office, Luis Lauro Reyes Rodríguez, mentioned that the objective is to reduce the lack of access to information technologies in the population.

“This has the objective of lending and providing non-profit telecommunications services, to guarantee the right of access to technologies such as the Internet and telephony at the lowest possible cost, so that the most remote locations are connected,” he explained.

How and where to acquire the CFE chip?

This service will offer mobile telephony and internet, of 1 gigabyte plus other gigabytes for social networks, adding 100 minutes, 50 SMS messages valid for 30 days, with a minimum fee of 30 pesos for the service.

The process to acquire the internet and mobile phone chip will be through the nation’s servants that will take the pilot test to the municipalities of Tamaulipas.

CFE-internet will begin next Tuesday, March 21 in the main squares of the municipalities at 11:00 a.m.
