Railway accident in Madero, Tamaulipas

A spectacular railway accident was recorded during the early hours of this Sunday, October 9th, in the city of Madero, Tamaulipas which caused a stir among citizens who were stunned by the noise it generated.

It was Mayor Jonathan Ávalos Rodríguez who, through social networks, reported the event that occurred a few meters from Protexa, in the Solidaridad neighborhood.

As a result of the strong incident, the Directorate of Public Security and Civil Protection had to mobilize to the place in order to review the damage and, above all, rule out injured or dead people.

Until this Sunday morning, no victim of the strong mishap has been reported.

The Mexican Ferromex railway company initiated the corresponding procedure for the accident with which it seeks to remove as soon as possible the tons of steel and merchandise that the railway was transporting.

Likewise, it is the same company that was in charge of investigating the reason why the accident originated; However, on social networks, citizens of Madero pointed out that “it could be seen coming” because they always circulate at high speeds.

According to the information provided by the authorities as a result of the railway derailment, 20 wagons ended up affected, two machines ended up lying down and several meters of rails were destroyed.
