CIUDAD MADERO, TAMAULIPAS.- In a terrifying video, similar to something out of a horror movie, a crocodile swims around holding the corpse of a man in its muzzle in Laguna del Carpintero in Tampico, Tamaulipas.
There is still no information from the authorities about how the person died. Still, local media indicate that the man allegedly entered the lagoon to swim and was attacked by the animal.
The recording shows how the reptile carries the victim’s body between its teeth, while people watch the scene with shock.
Reports say that the crocodile that killed the young man was at least 3 meters long and was captured.
The mayor of Ciudad Madero, Adrián Oseguera Kernion, asked the population to take care of themselves and not approach the lagoons to avoid more attacks.
