Mayor Adrián de la Garza indicated that his meeting with the Bulgarian ambassador to Mexico, Valentín Petrov, aims to boost foreign investment, promote tourism and educational exchange.
This Monday morning, the mayor of Monterrey, Adrián de la Garza Santos, met with the Bulgarian ambassador to Mexico, Valentín Petrov Modev, where he put on the table to draw cultural and economic ties.
It was reported that during the meeting topics related to the pandemic were discussed, such as the economic and health effects that have come to light because of the crisis generated by the covid-19.
The Mayor stressed that despite the situation that is being experienced, the Monterrey region has the necessary conditions to continue promoting foreign investment, promoting tourism, and educational exchange.
“Monterrey offers very important conditions to invite investment and educational trips, we have several universities here in our city, even to (offer in) tourism. And of course, we also (have to) offer to investors and entrepreneurs from the city, and students who aspire to go to other parts of the world, “said the municipality.
For his part, the ambassador stated that this first meeting will mark a close relationship between both countries.
“Regardless of the coronavirus, we have the interest of promoting economic, political, and cultural relations with your government because it is one of the important places, not only economically in the state but also in the country, thank you for receiving us”, expressed Valentín Pretrov Modev.
